SICK??? TIRED?? FRIDAY 13th!!!

Valentine meal and waiting for daddy to come home!

WHAT A WEEK ---Meltdown after meltdown---started on Tuesday after nap and woke up crying and would not let me in her room!!! Ok---I assumed she woke up stuffy and maybe a sore throat?? But she always wakes up talking nonstop or smiling and hugs!! I counted 6 meltdowns all over silly stuff from Tuesday nap to Friday!! Missing dad?? Thursday I was exausted trying to get her through these so we went to Tricities and bought Lee a bible cover for VDay!!! We went shopping at Value Village and got me a swimsuit for $3.99!!! She was fine and loves shopping but had a hard time getting her into the carseat ---she fell asleep about 1:30 --so instead of driving home (thirty min) I went the opposite way and drove to Yakima (hour) We went out to Mexican dinner with daddy and Uncle Sid! Very fun and then drove home (two hours) late !! Mommy needed to see daddy toooo!! Friday Gretchie was worse---with silly meltdowns not even making sense why she would get so frustrated or fall apart!!

***whatever the problem..................we have not had any meltdowns since!!!

Friday February 13th ----11 years ago my husband proposed to me-and it has not been the same since---good I mean!!! Ha!!

Sunday evening --Lee and G went grocery shopping!! I receive a phone call from Gretchie!

Mommy---we bought you a "plate"--Oh sorry its a suprise! We also bought me chocolate but I need to eat dinner first! I will give you one if you eat your dinner. We also bought pants (the ones she has on for a $1) and cards to give to Nana and Amma and all my cousins! Mommy you are going to be so excited when you get your "plate"---(Valentines Day was coming)

When they arrived home---she had to SHOW me everything they had bought---then she showed me the new tan pants and that is what I thought she meant by "plate". NOPE! she turns to Lee and says lets give mommy the "plate" For a three year old V-day was an eternity away---so They had bought me a Valentine Box of chocolate---Now that was my "plate" she had no idea it had chocolate in it for me tooo!! Of course I said thank-you and then jumped up and down because that is what she wanted me to do----Days later her four chocolate pieces were long gone and I gav her one of mine-she had no clue that my heart "plate" opened an exclaims where did you get that chocolate!!!! AH

*******Today was a fun day--We went shopping at the Cottage for cousin Aaron --we were on a mission for a stuffed zebra! Now taking a 3 year old into this store is brave because there are so much small stuff! We picked the Ty Beanie Zebra out and she says to me can we go in the back room and walk across the bridge--so we did! TOOO CUTE!! She paid for the zebra all along me telling her it was her cousins birthday gift! Went grocery shopping and to buy plastic animals for Aaron so we could mail off!! ( It wasnt until the net morning she wanted the zebra for herself) She did finally surrender the zebra to the box after a few tears and said Happy Birthday to Aaron and we taped the box up!! At WalMart we bought lunch meat with cheese in it--should have seen her face light up over a package of lunch meat --so priceless! The lady standing near the lunch meat case was smiling at Gretchie!! She told the checkout lady she was very excited about her meat! We went to a valentine Party at the library at four and G was super happy over the things she got at the fish pond and crafts she made with Isabella!! They had punch and cookies and when daddy came home she had all her stuff lined up to SHOW him!!!

Nap in the landing of the stairs--I let her choose where to take a nap today! The option to take a nap was not there but the place was?? Ha--It worked -not a complait from her and she slept two hours!!!

DOCTOR G----her new favorite playtime activity--unfortunately the dr. needs a patient --and its better to have mom than a doll!!

Her pet rubber snake she carried around for two days---witha dish and nuts and even put a brush inside to comb the snake------I even had to babysit when she went to the bathroom---It was sick for awhile but was soon feeling better!!
