HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!
Today (Oct. 30th) was daddy's birthday!! Since he is working in Yakima---we called him and sang to him! Gretchen had proclaimed about two months ago --Mommy is having a Dora party (9-24)and I am having an elephant party (10-7) and Daddy (10-30) well maybe we can have a rhinoserous party!!! So smartie pants has not forgotten!!! Today we made Lee an apple pie when he comes home tomorrow!! While I was peeling apples--I hear a voice Oh thanks .............Oh thanks...........thinking Gretchie was in the livingroom playing with her animals I ignore her---I then hear laughing and look down on the floor---She was under my feet catching the apple peels I dropped feeding them to her rubber rhinoserous!! (guess the rhino was telling me thanks) Then I dropped more peelings on purpose and I hear MOMMY thats ENOUGH the rhino can't eat all these apples! hah ahha !! She then was making a pile of apple seeds for the rhino to share with his friends from the two apple cores I dropped on purpose---then trying to stick the seeds back in the core of the apple!! HOW FUN FOR BOTH OF US!!! (yeah the entertainment of a 3 yr old, a rubber rhino and apple seeds and peelings!)Wednesday, October 29, 2008

POKING PICKLES AT DINNER THURSDAY NIGHT!WE played at the indoor playroom on Thursday 23rd and Friday morning 24th----mommy did not want to pick up toys after me at home incase they wanted to show our house and they were having a $1.oo special this week for the owners daughter turned ONE YEARS OLD!! I met some new friends and had fun! They also served cookies and juice--a added special treat!!

***The library had a Harvest party at 4 pm on Friday! Due to the fact Gretchie took NO NAP---and last year she did not like anyone in costume, I was very apprensive of dressing her up and even going! But why not try right?? So my little ballerina and I went--she had a great time!! We listened to 2 stories by a storyteller--2 crafts--fishing, popcorn balls, seeing all her friends dresed up, circle walk game. Gretchen played in the leaves outside with her friend Angelica after the party! Hurry home to Daddy--hasn't been home in 12 days==YEAH!!!!

CUBBIES VEST AND BOOK!
WOW--was our little girl EXCITED on Wed. night she earned her vest and book at Cubbies! She said one verse to her teacher but the 2nd one she would not say ---until after snack! She called daddy from the parking lot of church and then when we got home we called Nana and Papa!! Talked to Amma the next morning!! Gretchen went to bed with her vest on--and book on the floor--

FEDEX TRUCK!
Tuesday morning Gretchen had just gotten out of the tub---we hear the door bell ring and a BIG TRUCK outside! Lets go mom! We ran downstairs and opened the door to a BOX!!! YAHOOO--Lets open it my 3 year old says! I was trying to remember if Lee had ordered anything and just the day before his "house plan book" had arrived! ALL the time lets just open it---sooo G is pulling out a package with Dora paper and I finally make out it was from John Carlos and Kathy!!! YIPPPEEE!! She was sooo happy and looked at the outfit and said ohhhh its sooo cute and barrettes tooo mommy!! Mommy even got a book--which I immediately read the first 30 pages!! Thanks for sharing --its sooo funny!! I can so relate---or we could write our own book and make millions!!! 
I snapped this photo of Gretchen in her new outfit--so soft and adorable! The hairbows top off the outfit!!! She was not cooperating with a picture and stood their shivering I AM SOO COLD MOMMY! I wasn't fast enough to grab the camera when she opened it (like you were)!! We also loved the DORA card and stickas!!

Busy Bees! (Monday 10/20 to 10/24)
Our weekend in Yakima was good---found a couple houses and toured some inside! Looked at property and other surrounding towns! Gretchen was great. The time always flies by...............with daddy!!! One cute comment when we left Sunday night at 7:30 pm Gretchie says MOM are you and I going to live at the hotel!! Daddy is living with Uncle Sid!! We will see him very soon right???? Sooo cute.....trying to adjust to all these changes---So she continues on--Mommy where are we going? As I told her we had to go HOME to Hermiston to feed the cat and pack more boxes ----OH I SEE we are driving to Hermiston thats a long way--Is it ok if I take a nap?? Of course chatty girl talks and sings nonstop all the way to Hermison ((fell asleep 13 min before I pulled into the driveway!))TeeHee!!! 
Monday--the relator came and took photos--(G was silent in the other room the first 40 min)(Now silence is rare-but she had been lectured to be GOOD since last Thursday's relator visit she was very naughty---and I did not bribe with anything!) Went to a baby shower Monday night. Gretchen loved looking at all the gifts and stayed in the shower for the first part and then decided her friends upstairs sounded like they were having fun!! Then she did not want to leave! On the way home (3 min away)--she says to me ...
G=Mommy --Norah (4) forgot to blow out her candles on the cake!
Me= The party was a baby shower for the new baby G.....we don't blow candles out at a baby shower.
G= OH I SEE WHAT YOUR SAYING........Because the baby is to tiny to blow candles----AND she was sleeping!! haha!

Tuesday--was packing and gave Gretchie a bath in the morning--a list a mile long completed!! lee had to sign two papers to get our house on the FOR SALE MLS (faxed). Afternoon---I moved 3 rooms of furniture to the garage for the carpet cleaners to come in Wed afternoon. Gretchie packed up her videos--then of course found some she needed to watch! Then Lee called at 5 pm and said if you have room in the huge garbage can ---fill it with the old fuses that are on the top two shelves in the shed----6 boxes later!! The garbage can was filled!! Yeah!! Gretchen disappeared while I was moving things out of the house-I yelled and she was at the neighbors door standing on the porch yelling for Hailey COME PLAY WITH ME!! Ok--I need to teach her to KNOCK and then ask!! HAHA! This was pretty funny because Hailey(8) had just been outside and G wanted to play! Then Hailey, Bubba (5) and Amelia (3) all came over in our yard! Gretchie had been inside all day and was craving friends! She is soooo sweet and gives hugs when they leave too.
WED=Moved more boxes--Boogie at 10 am--Story/Craft at 11:15 am and then we went to McDonalds with her friends Angelica and Isabella. Nap for Gretchie and I unplugged VCR, DVD and Tv to move the E-center when the carpet cleaner man came at 3 pm! While he was here the FOR SALE sign went up and lock box on the porch!! Ok---now pray it sells SOON---Gretchen and I watched a movie in our room after Princess had a slight meltdown about the VCR being unplugged after nap and wanted to watch her new movies she checked out at the library!! (NOT new Babar)(Ive seen it at least 200 times) AWANA Cubbies at 6:30 pm--She said her 2 verses and got her BIG Book and new vest!!! Boy was she excited in fact we talked to daddy all the way home from Stanfield and then got home and had to call Nana and Papa--she did go to bed fine after all the excitement!! She even wore her vest to bed---I had to convince her the book had to be on the floor next to her bed!! (not in her bed) AHHH-- moved the furniture back into the livingroom!
Thursday== Made our beds and straighten the house (in case they wanted to show our house--wrong we live in Hermiston--) Took G to the PLAYROOM PLACE from 10 to 12:15 pm-She had a fun time--(took no pics) Nap and then folded laundry and went through a box in the garage.
Gave her a bath at 6:30 and then we wrote out thank-you cards for her birthday! Hard time going to bed tonight---she has been so good!!
Friday=She slept until 8 am---she usually wakes up at 7 am!! We got ready and mailed the thank-yous----Playroom again at 10--they were having a $1.00 specail this week----yeah! Nap was not happening today after playroom and after 2 half hours of trying ---I let her watch ARISTOCATS--while I checked my email and got her dressed for the Library Party at the library at 4 pm!
