I bought Gretchen this crown--because I thought it would be fun to have when we go on our Princess Cruise in April! Friday I had her dressed in a cute pink and white stripe jean jumper for a funeral and then off to Yakima for the weeknd to look at houses! Well by the photos she was being silly and not wanting to pose --so I handed her a green sucker she bought at the Awana Store. She was so perfect at the funeral and sat and hour and ten minutes it went another twenty minutes and took her out--She had fun at the meal and then would not get in the van at 1:45 --she still wanted to play with her friend. She fell asleep quickly ad we drove to Yakima to see daddy! Dinner with Uncle Sid at Taco Time. Saturday we looked at two houses and hung out at the hotel--Sunday went to church and painted her Awana car! Back to Uncle Sids to put the wheels on and eat dinner--Mommy and Gretchie left about 8 and she stayed awake until we pulled into the garge in Hermiston two hours later!!! Good weekend--although the house we liked we could not put an offer on until something solid on ours!!! God is in Control---I keep reminding myself--it will sell!!!

Monday daddy had an eye appt. and they dilated his eyes before he drove back to Yakima to work at noon. Gretchie was giving daddy a hug!

Now--she dresses her self all the way and chooses the clothes too---She put this outfit on completely backwards and I loved it!! Of course she says I can do it all by myself I am three and not a baby anymore!!!

LAUNDRY DAY----10 loads!! By the way she unfolded one basket and jumped into it--It was all I could do not to CRY!! It is sooo time consuming!!! I made her help me refold the basket--ya--like that helped she hough it was fun and told me accidents happen mommy!

Yeah--we don't stay home!! We drove to WW (hour away) after church for the day and Gretchie took 45 min nap on the way there--yeah! The main reason to go to Papa and Nana's house was to use papas saw to cut out Gretchie's Awana car for the Grand Prix--Papa and daddy took the block of wood to a friends house and G and daddy helped sand it when they got back. We girls went to Joann fabrics and then to get Pizza at Papa Murpheys for dinner--we got home about 10 ish or later and daddy had to get up and drive to Yakima Monday morning! I took these photos on the way to WW of her eating a cupcake from the bake sale at church and then I bought her a Princess crown at Joanns for our Princess Cruise in April! Although Princess G wont put the crown on her head!! Go Figure! The elephant had to try it on!!!

VALENTINE'S DAY PARTY AT EMMA'S

Good Day---We went to Bk for breakfast (I think--I will catch up on posts someday) Came home and they were showing our house at 1:30 ---so G laid with daddy for a nap--did not work for her it always does for daddy :) --so I put her in the van and drove around until Emma's valentine party at 3 pm---Daddy went to a movie (when was the last time I saw a movie in the theater???) Ok--I did see Madasgascar 2 --doesnt count!!! Ha !!

Emmas party was fun the kids played outside and G borrowed a jacket from Emma which was a big deal for her to wear someone elses jacket! They had crafts and decorated cookies--although Gretchie was too busy to decorate hers so Stephanie ( Emmas mom made her one) The mommys got bath lotion and we came home and made spaghetti!!

VALENTINES IN THE MAIL!!

Gretchen has been blessed with TWO SETS of grandparents that love her so much! They both even sent valentine cards in the mail!! These pictures are her opening both her cards and she gave them hugs and carried them around & reading them over and over! Papa and Nana's valentines came on Friday and Papa and Amma's valentine came Saturday the 14th--although she wore her black sparkle shirt for three days---ha! Yes--I did sneak in a washing!! Valentine's day at our house lasted all week----although mommy wanted to make heart cokies--she had packed all the cookie cutters !!!

SICK??? TIRED?? FRIDAY 13th!!!

Valentine meal and waiting for daddy to come home!

WHAT A WEEK ---Meltdown after meltdown---started on Tuesday after nap and woke up crying and would not let me in her room!!! Ok---I assumed she woke up stuffy and maybe a sore throat?? But she always wakes up talking nonstop or smiling and hugs!! I counted 6 meltdowns all over silly stuff from Tuesday nap to Friday!! Missing dad?? Thursday I was exausted trying to get her through these so we went to Tricities and bought Lee a bible cover for VDay!!! We went shopping at Value Village and got me a swimsuit for $3.99!!! She was fine and loves shopping but had a hard time getting her into the carseat ---she fell asleep about 1:30 --so instead of driving home (thirty min) I went the opposite way and drove to Yakima (hour) We went out to Mexican dinner with daddy and Uncle Sid! Very fun and then drove home (two hours) late !! Mommy needed to see daddy toooo!! Friday Gretchie was worse---with silly meltdowns not even making sense why she would get so frustrated or fall apart!!

***whatever the problem..................we have not had any meltdowns since!!!

Friday February 13th ----11 years ago my husband proposed to me-and it has not been the same since---good I mean!!! Ha!!
