Thursday night fun with mommy! I probably wasn't any fun lying on the floor(with my sore back) in her bedroom ....but you can see we played for two hours before bed!!

Rest of our week.........
Sunday 11/3---As I said in the previous post...G sat throgh the whole church service GREAT and QUIET!! So she had to go to the bathroom towrd the end. We went into the Ladies
room and she REFUSED to put her jean skirt on after using the bathroom! My creative discipline had to think fast while in the stall! Much explanation that her skirt had to go on and she says NO Thanks!! I then said OK---You can either SMILE AND PUT SKIRT ON or SPANK AND PUT SKIRT ON!! HA--The mother always has the power even though they think they do!!
The right choice was chosen with much ado and off to church we went!! This photo was taken at naptime Sunday while sleeping in the recliner!!!
Monday---Gretchie wanted to paint rocks like she saw John Carlos do on their blog--talk about a memory and smart!!! So we painted rocks at 8 am!!! We also made pumpkin bread--
she wore her new fury pink boots from Papa And Nana and jacket from last year fits!!! I was soooo suprised considering she has grown so tall and out of all size 2 anything!!! We have a little girl!! Took a loaf over to the neighbors!! She played knock knock and ring the bell on the front door---Well when I answered the door she comes in and says in her grown up voice- --HELLO--IS THIS A FOUR BEDROOM HOUSE FOR SALE with her hands on her hips----I started laughing---thinking she would tell me she was a neighbor or mailman etc. OH my*****
Tuesday -my new cell phone came UPS--G was so excited to open
the box and I did
not realize my wonderful husband had ordered me a brandnew one!! Gretchie exclaims MOMMY THE MAN BROUGHT YOU A NEW PHONE AND I AM SO GLAD__gives me a hug!! Soooo cute! The UPS man had brought her birthday plates and favors and now she likes the man in the big brown truck (UPS)!!! But in that case--I told her the man came and took the box after we saw what was inside (it was 3 weeks until her birthday--and I did not want her to know it was in the closet) THEN.....................when I took them out the day before her party --she says THE MAN BROUGHT THE BOX 
BACK MOM---I TOLD YOU HE WOULD!!!!!!! Oh the excitement!!!
Wednesday was are usual Boogie, Story/craft and then Awana that night!!
Thursday--HOME and played all day---
Friday--We ran to Bimart Goodwill and guess what??? The first thing inside the Goodwill was a little grey elephant sitting looking at Gretchen--Boy was she happy after she gave it a hug and a trumpet sound and asked could we buy this??? $2.50 --yeah!! His name on the tag was TRUMPET!!! The elephant family s growing by leaps and bounds--not really even trying!! Daddy brought her a new blue elephant from Goodwill a couple Fridays ago when he came home for 99 cents!!! We named hime WILLY!!

Can you believe I have nothing exciting to share this week--maybe because we have stayed around home this week---I hurt my lower back moving furniture 2 weeks ago--then Saturday night I fell in our slanted driveway and have been in lots of PAIN!! Not complaining but I was holding
Gretchen and a jug of apple juice --it was rainy and I went to slide the van door closed and BANG We went down!!! My wonderful mom asked if the apple juice was OK!! Of COURSE--thats why they make them plastic?? Gretchie had no idea we fell--! That was right after I dropped my cell phone in the parking lot at WalMart! It had been run over a couple times and was trashed!! Which by the way my awesome husband ordered me a new pink cell phone and it came Tuesday!! Gretchie was sooo sweet when the UPS man came and said MOMMY the man brought you a new cell phone .....I am so happy for you!!
! Gave me a huge hug!!! I had to tell her dadddy ordered it late Sunday night! Took G to Boogie and Story/Craft at the library and then Awana on Wednesday!! She made a Cubbie mask--see photo!! All in all its been a rough naptime this week---Monday down right refused to lay down for a nap---but was asleep by 7:50 pm!!! Tuesday angelface was horrible for nap!! (YES SHE CAN BE NAUGHTY!!) Yesterday and today tried to stay awake but mommy WON!! today she fell asleep at 2 pm--so it might be a later bedtime!! UGH!! Lee is driving from Yakima to Portland tonight after work we ususally go with him--but distance 
was impossible this time!!! I am taking it soooo slow and easy today not to hurt my back any more so we can have Fri SAT SU MON AND TUES --vacation time with LEE!!! BOY AM I EXCITED!!This working out of town all week is not the easiest on either of us G or me---and we have had no INTEREST on our house for sale! WOW 2 weeks---and nothing!! TRYING TO STAY POSITIVE IT ONLY TAKES ONE PERSON TO BUY IT RIGHT???? I got a ridiculous offer on our house last night from my friend! PHOTOS--she is imitating me in the mirror Sunday putting on makeup--kinda lokks like she is rubbing he face OFF!! HA!! Daddy then put a red adhesive wrap o her finger---like his blister! Now his blister o his foot which was unbelievably large and not healing fast is on the mend---Who would have known two months later we would still be badaging his foot still!
The sleeping one in the recliner I rocked her for nap and could not carry her with my back upstairs to her bed so left her there----sooo cute!!! We also made it through church service with being QUIET! BUT...................... Not without a taste of comunion bread----(oh I was so embarrassed!) She was sitting on dad's lap and when the bread came by those fingers were so quick and popped into her mouth faster than fast!!! Lee looked at me and said did she take one--She immediately says ALOUD---I DID TAKE ONE!!! He then explained to her what the bread was for (not for her) She was good when the cup came around!
This was the final apple pie --for daddy's rhinosarous birthday!!! It was yummy!!!

SWEETNESS WITH A CAPITAL "S"
Does she look like a EARTH DAY QUEEN?? We did lots of little tasks around the house Saturday-- -including getting THE BIRDS IN the rafters again (we had to borrow a long ladder from our neighbor) and reputting insulation back in a 2 story house! Papa and Nana and Uncle Scott and Cole came over at 3 to pick up our half beef from the butcher---We then went to the Mexican restraunt for an early dinner--I ran into WalMart for a few things and when I got back in the van I dropped my cell phone onto the rainyand dark parking lot!! When we got home Lee went back to find it--it had been run over!!

MY FRIEND ISABELLA AND TASTY PUMPKIN MUFFINS!I took G to a party at the "PLAYROOM " from 10 to noon!! I did not dress her up but she found an outfit (pirate) in the dress up box once we got there! Talk about mommy guilt!! I had a hard enough time getting her dressed in regular clothes let alone a costume and then her hair!! I don't mind dressing up but the whole idea of this holiday---I have never liked! (sorry just my opinion)We went to WalMart before the party to buy Lee a birthday gift and the first two people who walked out of the store dressed up she says ...they scared me!! Go figure a lady with an orange shirt and hat!! She had alot of fun at the playroom and did not want to leave after a snack and craft and playtime!!! After a huge meltdown---refusing to take the costume off and not even comprehending reasoning (which usually works since she talks so good) Yelling and crying she wanted her daddy! The owner of the playroom offered for her to wear the outfit home---(which she did not and after a few minutes she did hang it back on the hangar and I said thanks and we left!) She was asleep within minutes of leaving--- Great nap---mommy needed the alone time to recooperate!! I made the executive decision our 3 pm plan and then walking down Main Street would not happen due to overload on both our parts!! I then took her at 6:30 to 8:30 pm to the church Harvest party with a bouncy house and games---Our little cowgirl jumped and jumped the first hour without stopping! She told me when we got in the car--THAT WAS A BLAST!!! She only got a handful of candy also--because she played very little games!! After getting home and playing with dad she asked to go to bed---jumped until her hearts delight!!!! Fun evening despite my Halloween meltdown earlier in the day!!! Thank goodness Halloween only comes once a year!!!
