Another night of dancin----- with my dancin skirt on!

Tuesday night we danced again---wow! She has some great rhythm and moves. Her tiarra did not stay on---actually we lost more beads off the skirt and have a pile of them on the counter---but the skirt was made for ballet---which she has no concept of slow dancing yet!!! The cute thing about "G" dancing is she gets her enegry burned off---the bad thing is she has to have a mom and dad dance too---they have no energy!!! All in all--the family dance nights are fun memories !!

CATCH ME MOM---Over the bed --around the coffee table into the bathroom--it is only a hotel room--she wanted to wear just her new tights and NO JEAN SKIRT!!! We call tights jumpy tights---and she jumps very high--today I call them running tights!!!

My Hair is getting so long---but I don't like sitting still lately for mommy to fix it!!! She sometimes gives me choc. chips if I sit still--but at the hotel she had none!!

I will help fix my hair ---and do all byself!!! Would not take her jammie top off so we just let her wear it home! Put that camera away look!

Playing with Strawberry and Blueberry!! I love blueberries and am always pretending to get pretend apples or blueberries off the floor or wall to give to daddy or others!
Eating my small french fries---somehow they are now SMALL FRENCH FRIES!! My new ponytail holders fell out running with my friends at church!! Brody was trying to tickle me and I was hiding my face in my daddy's lap.

SWEET DREAMS!! NAP IN THE VAN ON THE WAY BACK HOME FROM A FUN WEEK IN WILSONVILLE!! TUCKERED OUT!!
Daddy ordered me a HAPPY MEAL!! I got a strawberry shortcake doll-and my very own drink!! (I am sharing my drink with my new doll) This was the first time we had ordered her a happy meal--although mommy did share it with her!! We ate lunch after church overlooking McNary Dam and the sun was out and very beautiful today!!

LOOK---THE FISH AT THE FISH LADDERS! BUT I MET A FRIEND Kyndall's grandparents live across the street from us!! We had more fun than looking at the fish.

**Gretchen is very polite ( I hope it continues) If she hears someone cough or sneeze SHE SAYS ARE YOU OK MOMMY OR DADDY!
** Daddy yawned and she says Daddy are you TIRED?? She has a cute little influx when she asks a question and is so genuinely concerned!
** I said Thanks for reading me a book---Your welcome! Ha!
**She now know the difference between DVDS AND VIDEOS! But they all continue to be HERS!!
** She offered me a glass of water in the hotel lobby as we were checking out---Do you want water mommy ok I will get it for you.
**ok guys....she always says to get our attention--(little does she know our attention is already on her)
**When asked a yes or no question --She answers in complete sentences YES I did or No Thanks...no she did not..or yes she did--and just started answering SURE we can do it!!
**One day I hear her all excited and running toward me--I found Cowboys--not exactly sure what she was saying. The DvD of Wiggles Cowboys was in the machine and had not been taken out forever---when she popped her video out she must have changed the channel!! You watch me mommy!
** favorite part on the beginning of a video is the part where they say COMING SOON!!! She has that line down awesome!!
** Tonight she took the cow flashlight out from under her bed and says the cow is just like ANABELLE (Christmas calf movie--very darling) She then decided Anabelle was the flashlights name----haha! Now that was pretty original--since her puppy's name is Puppy and her bear's name is Bear!! Her cats name is MEOW!! (ok I am tired--must go to bed)
**On the way home from a week in Wilsonville--Daddy kept hitting the rumble strips on the highway on purpose--as "G" laughed so hard!! She thought it was her tummy making the noise and kept yelling WATCH THIS!! AS she put her arm on the side of the van --daddy would hit the rumble strip----It was a great game for ten minutes--and had us all laughing!!! Oh the entertainment--!!!
** Gretchie now says hamburger cheese --small fries and DIET COKE!!! (oh great I have an addict already at two) when we go through the drive through----ha!
** Mommy sing Donald!! I started laughing--"OLD MCDONALD HAD A FARM" she has the EI EI O part don good!! She also has these cute animals she has colored and we attached to popsicle sticks so they can dance and be used as puppet props----
**She is always singing Glad to be a Tigger song or Lumpy lumpty da or Winnie the Pooh really silly little bear or We Stand Shoulder to Shoulder---We stand Eye to Eye--when one of us get tired the other takes a ride---deep under water---SERIOUSLY SHE KNOW ALL THE WORDS-probably better than me!!
**LOVES THE PHONE---keep it away from her or she will take it and pace back and forth and chat away!! She talks and walks and then she thinks the person in the phone can SEE her and turns the phone so they can see her. She told me to put daddy on SPEAKER! Oh my!!

Friend or Foe?? (cat/"G")

DORA OR GRETCHEN? Can you believe I took NO PHOTOS of her today---We had a relaxing day (sorta) at HOME!!! We went to breakfast at Hales Restaurant this morning and toward the end of eating Gretchen starts saying I WANT TO GO TO MCDONALDS!! (Like a million times) It was very annoying and got louder and louder! Daddy told her to stop and she continued!! Oh the two year old attitude persisted! I took her outside explained to her to stop or Spanking in the van!

She was better when we returned to our table---I paid and daddy waited with her by the door! We all took a nap--I was feeling bad with a headache! When we woke up--G watched a little of Bambi--(the neighbor girl gave it to her and I don't think its the best movie for a two year old) AS I sat down the cat jumped up onto the recliner with me---Gretchie grabbed Tashja's tail and held onto it and then yelled MEOW DON'T SIT WITH MOMMY!! Ten minutes later she was climbing the stairs telling Meow she was sorry I pulled your tail!! (precious) Daddy then wanted to watch Seahawks play---"G " got on a kick saying I watch Heffalaump---(million times over and over) She got in trouble from both of us---she cried and then I put her shoes on and took her to go activate my new cell phone--they closed at 4 and it was 4:15pm--we got home and daddy had another migrane! UGH! Twice this week he has gotten a migrane---he went to lie down at 5:15 and woke up at 7:45 pm ----"G" and mommy played computer games and blocks!! As I was putting her to bed tonight she says to the cat on the way upstairs YOU DON'T BE NAUGHTY MEOW!! (SO funny--like giving the cat a warning beforehand) This morning the cat woke her up by nudging her tilted door ---AT naptime "G" yells Mommy Meow woke me up --she came in and is naughty and cries meow!! (wow she had alot to say) When we got to the top of the stairs tonight she then closed her door all the way----ha (I think because of the cat) I threw the cat in the downstairs bathroom before we got to her room. Twenty minutes later G had to go potty--I really need to stop the bottle but can't quite do it yet??? We see the cat at the top of the stairs---now I had a headache.......... but I knew I had closed the bathroom door with the cat inside!!) (AND I KNEW A CAT COULD NOT OPEN A DOOR)(I was not going crazy either)

Well........................daddy had gotten sick in the meantime and the cat got out when he went in........Gretchie then heard daddy getting sick and says in her cute little voice I HEAR A NOISE---- I HEAR MEOW COUGHING!!! SHE THEN IMITATES THE NOISE!! (Now I think that is funny--good thing daddy doesn't read our blog--heehehe!! ) I told her daddy was sick and she says OH---sorry daddy!!! Poor Lee! After checking on Daddy and dumping "G"pottychair--and putting her to bed--daddy was asleep---I took a shower and am playing on the computer!!! Hope we don't have a bug going on in our house--I don't think "G" throwing up Thursday was related to Lee---- but who knows??

ONE YEAR AGO TODAY.....

Nothing earth shattering happened or even special on this date--we were here in Wilsonville --I just happened to be looking at how much our little girl has grown over the year!! From teething to talking--------------ahhh!

From size 3 shoe to size 6 !! Notice these were at storytime and actually we sat in the same spot (I did not do that on purpose) Gretchen is sitting on the same bench!
