The things she thinks up and charms us with everyday makes us laugh!
Some days she is quite smart and has a mind like an elephant (ha ha)-never forgets anything!
Today (TUES) "G" and mommy went on a "WALK"--it was sunny and we had to go get the mail so we went around the block! Gretchie talked the whole way---telling me about the red rocks (that were used to gravel the street when it snowed) and then all about dogs -that daddy told her they were not scarey---and that he said "Here Boy...here Boy!! Good story--I got to check with daddy to see how much was true!
Today she also got to "TALK" alot on the phone--Aunt Janny, Amma, Dad and again to Amma. I accidently hit the wrong button to take Amma off speaker and hung her up!! After we were done talking "G" asked if she could have her cell phone---I went to the toy box and handed her the play cell phone---obviously my child wanted the real cell phone that doesn't work and we let her play with it---(she sucked on it when we brought her home at 6 months and I had to get a different phone) After telling her I had not seen it forever. She then tells me its in the car---good

thing she knew where it was!! She then gets on her red real cell phone and says ---AMMA WE ARE SO SORRY--WE WILL CALL YOU BACK!! THEN----says LET'S TRY SPEAKER PHONE!! haha
Another new thing is if the person on the other end doesn't say anything she says DO HEAR ME? ARE YOU THERE?? She sets the phone up so they can se her draw or play with her toys!
Gretchen has her "elephant family" lined up on the loveseat and has been playing with them alot--I hear her say ITS NICE TO MEET YOU! WHY DON'T YOU WATCH MY SHOW WITH ME? haha
She is continuing asking WHATS THE MATTER--everytime we cough, sneeze or just plain make a noise out of the ordinary----Then she asks ARE YOU OK??
At naptime she has gotten in the habbit of saying THE TV IS TIRED--I will turn it off!! Yes--I said it one day and now she says it each time!!!
At dinner the other night she takes a green bean and yells ITS JUST LIKE A "D" letter!! (now I have no idea where she got this but it did look like a D) She then was playing with the KRAFT salad dressing and says here is the A!! Oh my--she is starting to rcognize letters!!! She tries to write a
"G" and has the C motion down and forgets to make the little line for the G!!! I don't have a baby any longer--but its sooo fun!!

Gretchen found some silver dollars I had in my nightstand! I let her play with them--wouldn't hurt and she could not swallow them! She found her little black purse and put the coins inside--GOODBYE--I AM GOING TO THE BANK!! She even went and put her sandals on over her footed jammies (I put them on) and wanted her jacket on. What an imagination!!! This lasted quite awhile----
As we were reading a story at library---I said to "G" show me how to swim like a turtle---show me how to gallop like a horse--show me what a rooster does----at the end of the book the page said Take a Bow--she looked at me and took her fist and went POW POW!!! teeehheee---can't fool her!!
Gretchie asked daddy for diet coke while going through the drive through at Burger King last Saturday!!
I will add photos to this soon---I am having problems with my memory card loading onto the computer and I have a two year old trying to type letters!
I should have never shown her the keyboard--wait she will be typing her posts next week!! YA!!
