I had to post a picture I handed Gretchen yesterday morning as we were cleaning out the office. It was a packet of worksheets from teaching first graders. She had a basket of crayons and a glue stick--she then asks me for some of daddy's pop (lids--I used for math and sorting) I handed her a couple and forgot about that as I was busy cleaning and she was happy!
This morning while she was in the tub--I was cleaning up her little project and was AMAZED what I found!!! A worksheet with circles on it and she had glued 4 lids inside the circles-----WOW!!! Some of my first graders could not even do this. I guess I was shocked because when she asked for the lids---I did not even think she would put the two together!!!
