Since I have very little photos of Gretchen and I (besides they are all self taken-ha) -----I am posting a few photos of her two grandmothers! After I started looking .......I have little photos of Gretchen with anyone but herself! Her grandmas are called Nana (Lee's mom) and Amma (my mom)! Nana lives in Walla Walla -one hour away and Amma lives in Spokane which is 3 hours! They are both Godly examples to me as a mother! We love you both!! Thanks for being part of our lives Nana and Amma!! HOPE YOUR MOTHER'S DAY IS SPECIAL AS YOU ARE TO US!

FOUND FAMILY FOTO!

I found this photo playing with Nana's pictures today on her computer and had to post it! We have very little of all three of us TOGETHER!! So this was taken on New Years Day 2008 --at Scott and Sheila's (Lee's sister) WHat a fun year it has been so far..................................

TREASURE HUNT!

Let me try to explain what we did Saturday! In Gretchen's words we went to find treasures! This girl is into new adventures and always says IT WILL BE SO FUN!! We entered a geo cache contest for the month of MAY in Pendleton (30 min south of our town) We take our GPS and enter in coordinates and decode clues--well for the month of May we have 12 caches to find! This is the first time we have ever did something like this and the prize is a collectors coin! Lee and his parents and our nephew Cole (10) went to the kickoff Friday night from 7 to 11 pm---Gretchen and I went with them all day Saturday. She was soooo good! She got a little plastic dalmation and a little car in one of the treasures and was hooked! Cole got a duck caller---ha! She thought it was funny! It was kinda annoying after a bit! It took awhile to find some and we only found a total of three and some people stayed up all night to find all 12!!! G adores her cousin and follows him everywhere! We played in the park and when we finished had hamburgers and came home by 4:30 pm! Needless to say nap was on the way home at 4 pm!

I LOVE TEA!

Sunday I hear Gretchie say Mommy I found something come here.......She had the cupboard opened and was pointig to a packet of tea!! She had never had tea or even seen a tea bag. So I made her a cup of tea (with warm water and a straw) She loved it----I think she is hooked on herbal tea! I love tea ---I love tea!! Then sat and sang I am a little tea pot!

**AMMA MADE MY A B C DRESS AND SENT IT THIS WEEK IN THE MAIL!! THANKS SO MUCH AMMA!!

Hiding behind the curtain and MOM found me---just wanted a shot of the dress-daddy picked out at the thrift store in November---size 3 and its tooo short! One time wear on this---ha!!!
Stomping in the water---then came in and walked circles in the kitchen because her shoes SQUEAKED!!! Laughed and would go back out ----oh how entertaining was that!!

OUR PLANT---we grew from a small baby plant about 8 years ago--It takes up the corner in our family room area and just started looking droopy until I repotted it Thursday and took all the brown leaves off--it has perked up tremendously and we have always killed plants sooo it was worth taking a photo of!!

Its THURSDAY AN D SUNNY----Aunt Amber was coming for a visit(plans changed) so mommy took me to the park after nap! We had a fun morning playing playing playing!!! We also had a picnic lunch on the porch!

I love dresses!! Thanks for the picnic mommy!
Our big job for the day--REPOT THE PLANT!! Not Gretchie!! Daddy and G got the pot Wed night and then we went to get more potting dirt Thurs.and the park!

Is it book time again---this is the way I find her ten times a day--so happy she loves books!!!!

EIGHT MORE TOES!!!

Since we painted G big toes on Tuesday morning she has asked lots if she could have the other toes painted! Soooo...Thursday night before bath I painted them---(doesn't take much polish! Those toes are tiny--heehe)

Guess what I did not have to bribe with chocolate chips this time either--ha!
