GREAT HELPER TODAY SETTING UP THE YARD SALE!!! THIS SHIRT WAS ONE WE FOUND AT THE 43 item sale--the purple dress in the above photos (daddy came home with the purple shirt and when mom went back she found the dress--GUESS WHAT they were a set!!! )Still excited about all my treasures!!!

I HAVE TWO OLIVES---BUT I ATE THE WHOLE SMALL SIZE CAN!! Mommy made me put one olive on her plate & daddy's plate and Nana and Papa---I then could not help myself and ate the one off Mom's plate!

FRIDAY-----YARD SALE DAY!!! IN THE FAR BACK YOU CAN SEE "G" SITTING ON THE STOOL AT THE MONEY TABLE!

PRETENDING to sleep like Nana was after the yard sale!! Poor Nana had no chance of sleeping with those big brown eyes asking her questions!

Sun afternoon to Monday night--Amma and Papa Visit from Spokane

Tuesday--RAINY DAY!! We went to the playroom again with Isabella!! It was soooo fun---according to "G"!! We got in the car after two hours and she said THANKS FOR TAKING ME TO THE LIVING ROOM!!! We then went to McDonalds with Isabella for lunch where the fun did not stop!! She was playing so hard she was sweaty! We came home a little before 1 pm and she crashed!!

Wednesday--Walmart shopping (fun fun fun) She sits in the cart and sings the whole way through the store "I have the Joy Joy Joy down in my heart --WHERE??" **Babby Boogie **Storytime and Craft! She fell asleep on the way home from Boogie so I transferred her into her bed and put away all the groceries--the phone rang (daddy) and I went out on the porch to talk---Gretchie woke up (20 min nap) She had in her mind nap was over and she could watch her 2 Horton movies from the library! (the rule movies after NAP) Tried to rock her back to sleep but NO WAY!!!

Thursday -HOME ALL DAY!! Worked in garge for yard sale--went through files and organized yard sale stuff! Mommy found some things to color and cut! We made dinner for Nana and Papa and Daddy! Thanks-to both Nana and Papa (for driving) for coming to help us out!

Friday -YARD SALE --Dinner with Papa and Nana and daddy and then we went to BiMart and Fish ladders were locked up!! SUPER DAY!!

***The weather all week was windy and cold some days--with off and on sprinkles of rain!! Saturday was very windy!!! G got sniffles and a hoarse voice Tues /Wed. Daddy came down with her sniffles Thursday and was sick all weekend!

Reading my library books waiting for Amma and Papa to visit! My girl loves her books!!! This book was called MAYBE MY BABY!! Which mommy always says before we found the book!!!
Look this is "Gretchie Park!"!! These overalls are one of mommy's "43 item finds at the yard sale yesterday ---(tooo cute) I was told to stay out of the mud today----ha ha!

Sunday after church my Papa and Amma came to visit from Spokane (2 and half hours) We had a Super time (of course she benefited by playing super hard) We took Amma and Papa to "Gretchie Park" and they read me stories, puzzles, bubbles, played catch with my ball, played with my little animals, watched HERMIE with me. Monday we went shopping and then after nap we went to the fish ladders and another park in McNary!! Papa pushed me on the swings. While mommy made steak and potatoes and corn for dinner--Amma and I played with the Aqua Doodle she brought from my cousin Andrea. I love Aqua Doodle!!!! I showed them how I can ride my bike and then they went home Monday evening! I gave them hugs and told them thanks for coming to my house---ahhhh! I had a meltdown after they left at 8 pm and was asleep by 9:20 from EXAUSTION IN ITS FINEST FORM----even with a nap--(go figure) Maybe she wasn't feel great---or extremely upset her grandparents left!!!

Wonderful Weekend!

We had no plans and the day ended up pretty relaxing and fun!!! We got in the car Saturday morning and headed to the farmers market---but they did not start yet?? So daddy asked Gretchen what she wanted to do? Don't ask a two year old who knows exactly what she wants---ah!

Well without hestitation she wanted to go to "Gretchie Park" (see my post below) ----Daddy was hungary so we compromised went home and got another car---Daddy was going to meet us at the park after he ate but after 45 minutes of playing in the hot sun !! THEN fell in the mud!--Gretchie was asking to go home (what kid asks to go home from the park??? (MINE!! )) She played wit a 7 yr old--but when we drove up to the park--she says OH NO I have to share!

Now thats hilarious--even though she is GREAT at sharing lately! She fell asleep on the way home at noon (which 12 is early lately tooo) but had a early morning with a bad tummy! She took a two hour nap---and daddy had gone to this huge yard sale at The AGAPE HOUSE--so then when he came home---mommy went! Together we got 43 items (mostly clothes ,doll and two pair of shoes for G ---for $8!!!) Everything was FREE after 2:30 pm but I just gave them a donation for my pile of stuff!

We then went on two GPS geo caches--it started to rain but we walked down this walking path along the river!!! Gretchen got a pink eraser in the first treasure and in the second she traded the eraser for a blue and yellow jacks---boy were these a BIG HIT!! In fact when we stopped by the convenient store to get a drink--she says from her car seat I LOST THE BLUE JACK!!! Well we drove back to where she was playing in the grass and could not find it----all the way home (6 min) she repeated---I LOST JACK --I Lost Jack---(ugh!) When we got to Pizza Hut---Daddy found it in the carseat--YEAH!!! He dropped us off and wentto get a movie and we waited for our Pasta order and breadsticks to take home!!! She went to bed AWESOME!!! (me walking out and her not saying a word)!! Knock on wood we are on a good roll---------------------

HELP MOM I FELL IN THE REAL MUD!

If you have been following our blog for awhile--you will know Gretchie pretends to fall(on the floor) and then yells Help I am STUCK IN THE MUD!! This imaginary scence is from her favorite movie HEFFALUMP! She now has been getting stuck in the mud when we go to bed---on the stairs (STALLING) She always yells please throw me a rope---so we throw her a imaginary rope and she comes out--ha! Well today we went to "Gretchie Park " a little before 11 am!! She played witha little 7 yr old girl and then G and mommy played ball in the grass---it was hot so she asked to go home --my neat little girl found a piece of garbage and decided to throw it away on the way back from the garbage can she must have taken a detour through a mud puddle--I hear Help Mommy I am in the mud? she was truly in a mud puddle and of course freaking out not crying that she was dirty !!! (it was funny) Of course she slipped and was all muddy!! I changed her right there in the parking lot and could not resist the photo opportunity to document her first experience in REAL MUD!!!!!!!! ha ha ha ha --I am still laughing over this ordeal!!!

SUPRISE DAY!! (FRIDAY)

Well today was a great day to celebrate!!! Lately Gretchie has not been giving into bed time when she takes a hour to two hour nap! She goes to bed at 8:30 every night but just lays there and some nights says I am not going to sleep! FINE LINE between naughty and not tired! Bedtime has been later and later--and wipes out my evenings!! The later it gets the harder to make her relax----I really think in the last month she has had a huge growing spurt also!! I started rubbing her back to get her down---or rocking her! NOW SHE EXPECTS IT!!! Well..................Sunday night G says to me while I was rubbing her hair----Go get your jammies on mommy.(I had not had a chance to take a shower or put them on as usual).........I said good idea kissed her and never went back in---she fell asleep!! (she did 3 times last week also) M ....T... W ...TH this week every night all BYSELF----excellent!!! We made a chart and started putting gold stars on!!! I did this a month ago for about three weks for lots of chores--and bedtime!! So I decided to take her to storytime on Friday (we left early on Wed-due to not listening to mommy) and craft on FRIDAY and then we got lunch and dillybars at Dairy Queen--I found a new park and we had so much fun!!! The park was pretty fun and not one kid on the playground! So mommy had to slide with Gretchen (I went down ten times) then an extra two more times because we were having so much fun! Gretchen called the park Gretchie Park---after nap we played bubble machine and went to Chineese Food with daddy!

Happy Birthday Isabella!(TH) 5/31

Thursday was another packed fun day! The weather was kinda windy! So the party was moved from the park to the Playroom. Gretchen was dressed so cute and even let me curl her hair and tie a ribbon in it! She made a homemade card for Isabella and was very anxious to go all morning to the PARTY!! We got there about noon and stayed until 2:30 pm! The party had cupcakes, icecream cups and milk! The pinata was funny because two year olds just stood there when all the candy spilt out! Ha! The theme was Barney and they received cute gift bags with homemade play dough, Barney stuff--punch ball--coins--etc. The Playroom is a new place here and is an open area with stuff the kids can play with--its cooooL! I will try to post some photos of the party --I had sooo many --it was hard to choose the good ones!!
