Saturday Picinic and more GPS!!

Saturday--we had no plans so we decided lets go tag along as Papa and Nana and cousin Cole finished up there geo caches---(did I ever realize this would be a weekend thing) We had fun!!! As we got to Pendleton it was raining-daddy knew where all the places. Gretchen always has fun especially when the treasures according to her are in a park!!! Well alot of it also has to do with her cousin Cole who she adores to pieces!!! We had chicken and chips etc. at the schoolhouse and had a nice day!!

Friday --after we ate lunch on the porch at noon---Mommy decided to get me real tired so we went birthday shopping for my friend Isabella. We bought her a cute blue sundress--beach towel and blue ball--I

picked the color on everything and did a mighty fine job!! Mommy found a mesh bag at the $ store and we put it all inside!!! I am so excited about her gift!(actually..............mommy is tooo) Mommy also had a coupon for a package of pullups---she has not bought pullups since January!!! I have been potty trained day and night since January---but for some reason the past 3

weeks I am sleeping harder and wake up wet every morning! So mommy and I had a talk (like that would work with a 2 yr old to stay dry???)(heck--why not try!) Guess what the last 3 nights I have been DRY AGAIN!!! My mommy is not sure if its a coincidence or what?? (two year olds are smart little kids)

I fell asleep at 1 pm--when we got home and slept an hour and half! Mommy played with the new bubble machine and the cat while I napped!! (So thats what my mom does when I take a nap--not really!)(Mom told daddy she bought herself a bubble machine just so she did not have to blow bubbles) Daddy came home

and we all

played out on the porch and lawn with the bubbles and ate snacks--pretzel mix!!

We then went to the $ store--to get small treasures for our geo caches and then on a treasure hunt here in town at the park!! Mommy got "us" a green and purple fuzzy hats!! We went for a geo cache at the RIVERPARK and of course played on the slide. We stopped to get fried rice and played at home --

Today daddy had one more geo cache to find---so off to Pendleton we 3 went (daddy took WED TH FRI off from work) We stopped by PPL (daddy's company). We had drove two cars to Pendleton--for dadd

y to go on to WWalla for a union meet at five and spend the night with NANA --He had a regular DR. app on Friday morning in WW! We ate lunch at Wendys and searched high and low for our very last treasure! It ended up to be under the stairs of the school house---I then dropped daddy's mechanical pencil underneath the wood slats---I was horrified OH NO I DROPPED THE PENCIL! (drama G)

Daddy got his gold COIN!!!! The lady at the chamber gave me green sunglasses and a yellow little creature and sucker! I scored on the treasures!!! Daddy drove us to a treasure he had gone to Wed. -- I got princess crayons but we had nothing to trade so mommy took my yellow creature I had just gotten ten min earlier and put inside the container! Now Gretchie will know the truth later on in life when she reads this blog! HA! ALSO the

crayons all broke by the next day and when we went back on Saturday to the same "treasure spot" our nephew Cole traded an eraser for G 's "yellow creature" --she was so happy when Cole gave it to her--she had no idea the creature had spent the night in the container two nights! HA! We took cute photos of G and her new pink hat tonight ---

we also worked out in the garage for our yard sale in two weeks (we will post those pics on another entry!) I got lots organized --empty boxes smashed--but I also had a two year old going through the stuff one by one--(CUTE)

Mommy even found a couple stuffed animals she was selling in the house I had brought inside!! Oh--a girl after my own heart---parting is sweet sorrow! But when you get rid of it feels sooooooo g

ood!! FUN DAY!

OSHKOSH GIRL!

Nana just bought Gretchie the cutest jean shorts and jean jacket!(size 4) It was big but oh sooo cute! I happened to have a red shirt that said OSHKOSH (hand-me down from Taylor(G cousin who is 6) So stylish and with her braids we did the night before we were off to Baby Boogie on Wednesday--and to make it even better---THE LIBRARY HAD HER FAVORITE MOVIE HEFFALUMP! How fun can a two year old have? Lee had a dentist app. this morning here in town and then went to finish up the geo caches (the contest we entered in Pendleton for the month of May).

I put Gretchen to bed and came down and ths is what I saw .............in the photo! CAN YOU SEE WHAT I SAW????

We had bought her hot pink hat on Tuesday at the Dollar Store and it prompted me to have a tea party----We then went back to $ store Friday night with daddy and I bought her two more hats--green and purple one!! She hung her 3 hats on the edges of the chairs !!!! That "silly little bear"!! The funny thing is....Daddy hangs his baseball hats on the ends of the chairs also! What she thinks some times is soooooo imaginative!!!!

Now that made a good laugh for the day...............
