This has become one of "our favorite things to do" (when we are home). Today was especially fun and she carries on great conversations! She was telling me a story using hand motions--something about way up in the sky and Chip (daddys co-worker) Now-------she talks excellent and trying to figure out what she is saying is not a problem-but today she just rattled off this long story and I was totally laughing---she would not stop talking either!

The logic in her little mind does not turn off----I am just posting some cute photos from LUNCH!! She tried cheesy bean dip today and said it was her favorite--I am kinda suprised she had 4 or 5 more crackers with it on--since she does not even like ranch dressing or ketchup to dip anything! Probably because I liked the dip --she did!!

Wednesday-packed full of fun!

JUST GOT IN HUGE TROUBLE FOR TAKING CHALK AWAY FROM HER FRIEND!! WE DREW AN ELEPHANT ON THE SIDEWALK!! SHE USUALLY DOES NOT STAY MAD VERY LONG BUT I WAS SCOWLING AT HER AND THEN HAD TO SNAP A PHOTO!!!

Three days in a row--ON THE MOOVE! Gretchie loves that song I like to move it move it--and then when you ask her where it is from she says MADAGAS--(MADAGASCAR MOVIE) That girl is smart and so detailed .

So we got dressed and went to the( 1.)dollar store to get packaging tape--Gretchie found an elephant watering can---tooo cute she picked the purple color and we will play with it n the pool today (Thurs.) (2.) Post Office to mail baby Mikyla (hope I spelled it right) a gift --Gretchie sent her a special suprise so if Carol is reading this the top gift is from Gretchen!!!!(hint her favorite animal) We did not put a card in the gift--oops!

MY FRIEND HAILEY IS LATE---THE NERVE OF HER (all of ten minutes) GRETCHEN WAS SOO TIRED AFTER HER LONG MORNING!!

CONGRATULATIONS GREG AND CAROL---it was a long wait for your adoption but God blessed you with a beautiful baby girl--and We could not be more happier and thankful for this precious baby!! Wish I could kiss those cute little cheecks of your new daughter!

Stop #3 -Bank #4 Boogie #5 Storytime/Craft #6 Sidewalk Chalk at library #7 Walmart for 1/2 hour to get milk for daddy and G!! #8 Swimming Pool to meet Hailey all by 1 pm! That was alot to pack into the day with a two year old--she loved the pool! She was very scared about the buckets that poured water off the fountain and clung to me---not sure if she was tired or just scared even after explaining they would not hurt her!! She swam hard and was asleep within 2 min of getting in the car at 3:15 pm! She told daddy over and over about the buckets---the things that stick in their minds! Went on a stroller ride in the evening!

Enjoying the green green grass! Since our lawn is dead the 3 days we were gone in Portland to the zoo!!!

We live in a dry area of Oregon and about six miles from the Columbia River--beautiful but yet we do not take advantage of living so close to the river like we should! Since yesterday was absoutely wonderful weather we decided to take the girls again down to the beach area on the river and playground and have a picinic!! It was fun but yet very windy and the water was freezing (according to Gretchen's mom) The girls played we ate and then decided to come back to our house to swim in G pool. It was 12:30 and Gretchie fell asleep on the way to our house---she asked when we got in the car Is it nap time? She has been on the move nonstop for at least a week----so it is QUIET in my house now and I get mommy time! (yeah)! We will see Isabella tomorrow at Baby Boogie--Gretchie watched Bear in the Big Blue House and then we danced to music!! Made tacos for dinner -little people and bath and books and bed!!

Today was BEAUTIFUL SUNNY DAY! So we filled my pool and invited Isabella over for a swim! They were here from 10:40 ish to 2:30 pm! I love having friends over and shared pretty good-- a few times I had to be reminded! We ate pretzels, swam and played on my bikes,dolls, elephants and jumping on the couch pillows!! Mommy made hotdogs and macaroni for lunch--YUMMY!! We ate at my little table and chairs!! Took a nap--watched TIGGER!! I played in the pool after dinner also (daddy and moomy sat at the poolside-ha) and the sprinkler hose and then off to bed!!! WHAT A FUN DAY!!

All my swimsuits (5) I had two weeks ago---- only 2 still fit---I AM GROWING!!! Mom had taken 3 suits to the hotel-and all 3 too tight!
