FOURTH OF JULY!!!

WOW-what a packed full day! We started out at 8:30 am Pancake breakfast in the Park (Stanfield--10 min away) We then watched the parade and cheered on the church float! We stood by Corinne(Mrs. Fun) and Cooper (2yr) Cherilyn and Brooke and Clara all from church! We then went birthday shopping for Cole (our nephew). Bimart and Big 5---Nap at home--then we drove to Walla Walla (one hour) went to Big 5 because they were out in Hermiston and honored our Oregon sale price!! Safeway to pick up whipping cream !! Looked at some propety and on to Papa and Nana's for kabobs and icecream cake!!! YUMMY!!! Fireworks at 8 pm and G rolled down the hill with Aunt Sheila and then daddy played with her!! She was so excited all day and kept asking when is the 4th of July!!

VERY FUN DAY !!!! EXAUSTED ---LEFT WW AT 11 pm--home at midnight!!!!

Tuesday 7/15

SHORT EDITED POST! I posted three very cute smilebox photos(my opinion) (probably Amma and Nana's opinons too)teehhee! They were of Gretchen and my week in Spokane June 23---27th! These were extremely difficult to add for some reason I kept getting error remarks---FINALLY POSTED and ENJOY!!!! The post is under I am still here post!

I AM STILL HERE........

The lack of posts has been due to the fact this week has been BUSY BUSY BUSY!! Nonstop and full of fun and no time to download photos since the 4th of July! I even woke up at 6:15 am Sunday 7/13 just to finish laundry and straighten the house before church! But guess who decided to wake up 30 min after I did---ahhh love that girl!!!! Thought I had at least an hour!!! She took wonderful 1:45 to 2 hour naps this week up until Friday ---downright refused a NAP--so she fell asleep on our errands at 4 pm! I let her sleep while picking up the pizza and home but woke her after 15 min! Saturday we were busy all morning fell asleep at 12:40 on the way home and transferred her to her room and 30 min later woke up with smiles and said I AM DONE TAKING A NAP!! IT WAS A LONG NAP ---UH MOM?? GREAT!!! So guess who I took to the party at two with me---my party girl!!! AND boy did she have FUN!!! I even did--not wanting to take her to a suprise 40th birthday! Daddy stayed home and we were gone until 5:30 pm!!! Ok--I also have to download my photos from Wed to Sat. so I can take MORE PICS! We are leaving tomorrow for Wilsonville for the week (Lee's last training week). Maybe I can catch up while I have Hspeed a the hotel---assuming G takes a nap--she is really funny this week and has started asking when she wakes up WHERE ARE WE GOING TODAY? --Since it was VBS this past week ---

Thursday-July 3!

Another back dated post-----Lee took his five hour test in Portland Thursday and thinks he did great! Will not know for sure for a couple weeks. Normal Day for us girls----After he got home we went to McDonalds for dinner and then to the park (RIVER PARK) Our social butterfly went right up to a group of 10-12 yr olds and started spinning like them--and running and then yelling Watch ME Guys!! As Lee and I watched from the bench we were sitting on----------sometimes out going sometimes won't even look at people---go figure! Her personality is so cute!!! Show everyone your cuteness----She wanted to climb this rock wall--so when she got to the top with daddy's help ---Lee had a little girl help her but she started yelling for mom---I had to rescue her--We stayed for a good hour !!

SATURDAY 28th--HOT & HUMID bathing BABY

Ok---I am so far behind posting but these were cute photos with her .25 cent swimsuit we got in Spokane and the toys mommy was trying to sell at the yard sale! I also am adding a funny story here---I had my 1st yard sale the first of June and "G" was not sure what to think about people coming and buying our junk! So when I had it the 2nd time--she was sooo cute (but don't I always say that) She got in to the buying and selling parts by holding 4 quarters and "shopping" with a WalMart sack off our tables. The only thing was --I ended up with stuff in the house and had to restock the tables-ha! Daddy was in the house and she bought a few hats for him also---how thoughtful!! So she then wanted to be the "cashier" and have me shop----ha! She did not quite get the hang keeping the money after I bought stuff and would hand me the money back----after she put my stuff into a sack.....................SOOOO---we played this game for awhile---as Gretchie was shopping and then paying she looked like she knew what she was doing and paying me and saying thank-you have a nice day --waved and then walked out of the garage and waved goodbye----A hispanic lady was shopping and looked at me horrified and said That little girl is not mine---I said shes mine--but realized how it looked like G was all by herself----oh boy ---and then the lady smiled and said OH!! We then went across the street to shop at the yard sale and G found a small Tigger she had to have (our neighbor said she can have it) The mean mom that I am said OH NO she needs to pay for it! We will go home and get our money--so putting the play into practice was a great lesson!!!

FFF--SHAKING THE GROOVE

Gretchen loves music so much that she had to stop her new craft to go DANCE to the elephant song on BABAR!! I grabbed a couple shots of her dancing! She always is singing---like nonstop all day!! In the store, car tub & meals!! We dance and march all day long and she always grabs the maraccas!! She has many, many songs memorized and loves her Boogie class at the library!!! She is always singing nursery rhymes and the song off the Heffalump movie--We stand shoulder to shoulder--we see eye to eye---etc. It is adorable to hear her try to sing the praise songs at church. Her new song in the last week is JOHN JACOB JINGLE HIEMMER SCHMIDT---I will try to download the video of her and daddy singing this song---It makes me laugh each time I hear it!!! Last week she learned all 8 verses of DOWN BY THE BAY!!! I can't wait until fall to put her in a dance class or gymnastics!!!!
