Small drum aunt Janny sent that spells letters--love her expression here --THURSDAY was a busy day at our house !! Mommy had taught with Marilyn in Walla Walla (ten years ago) she called us Tuesday night and was visiting her nephew & family who had just moved here from Spokane! They had a almost three year old girl and baby boy and did not know anyone in Hermston---Tuesday night we were on our way out the door for a ladies potluck dinner at someones house or we would have been spontaneous and gone over to see Ron and Marilyn and meet their nephew and neice!! Mommy invited Heather and Recee (3 yr) over Thursday morning for a couple hours! The girls bonded right away--Recee loves elephants too! They played and jumped in her new bouncy house!! Mommy had a fun tim talking too--- As soon as they left I gave G a sandwhich and put her down for a nap immediately--Amma and Papa came about one---spent the night and left about four on Friday---Daddy came home Friday night! They also showed our house twice last week Tuesday at 4 pm and Wednesday at 1:30!! So that was encouraging! Wednesday we had a major meltdown at the library which has not happened in a long time! I told her and five other kids to get out from behind the hanging carpet/rug on the wall--guess what?? Everyone listened but my child! YES! So I calmly said again after I thanked all the kids for listening--Gretchie you need to get out! NOPE---talk about embarrassing---so I counted and two of her friends told her to get out----NOPE!!! So I drug her out picked up my purse left our coats ad walked to the hall--she got away from me and ran back under the carpet--UGH!! By now I was MAD!!! Picked her up a 2nd time--which I should not have done with my condition. Took her out by the elevator on the way to the van but realized my keys were in my jacket(in the room)-----not my purse! She was crying and screaming and I just stood there until she calmed down----she ran through the door and back into storytime (30 or more kids) and sat like a perfect angel( I was not staying but at this point I was not making another scene--and she kept staring at me from the front row---when we got in the van after story I read her the right act and took away storytime next week ----she was good at Awana later that night but refused to say her verse---
Amma and Papa gave her the Horton movie and we watched four time in the first 24 hours!!!
