BOX???

GUESS WHAT ---Mom went to the mailbox on Friday and the huge box had my name on it!! Inside---I could not believe my eyes --there was big stuffed grey HEFFALUMP!!! I explained ohhhh--its sooo cute --the heffalump is sooo cold! Mom told me it came from Amma and Papa in Spokane and she gave it a hug!! We called and thanked them and then I played with it all evening! Although I did not want it in my bed!! NO WAY! So I put it on my rocking chair with my other elephant I got from my baby shower. I tried riding on it and put it in my tent we had made , I gave it some milk from one of my doll bottles and even showed Tashja my heffalump!!! THANK-YOU SO MUCH FOR MY SPECIAL HEFFALUMP!!! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!!

Friday--no accidents! Mom found a box of undies(10 or more pair) and we looked at all the cute characters on them--I chose the BEAR and the big blue house one! I was so excited each time mommy showed me a new pair after nap today--all size 4 --so still kinda big!! I said Let's wear them!! I am such a big girl!!I went twice in the BIG POTTY (with help) THAT WAS WAY TO COOOL!!! My bear panties stayed dry but I wanted to wear the purple Tinkerbell ones--they fit better!! My poster board is filling up with "stickas" since we got the new one after Christmas!! YEAHH!!!

My mom and dad are soooo PROUD of me!! Last week I down right refused to put a pullup on at all during the day--so I wore my Dora and Tinkerbell undies---I had to wear a pullup at nap though. So our errand trips lately have been super fast! (short) This week I did wear a pullup to the mall on Monday and went potty at the mall. Stayed dry during my two hour nap!! Woke up Tues. morning DRY DRY DRY!! Mommy actually could not believe it !! Tuesday we stayed home. Boogie I had to wear a pullup but went potty just like a big girl at the library!! We made short errands yesterday and mom let me wear big girl underpants to the store!!! Today I was rewarded and got to go to my friend Annalese's house!! Mommy put that silly pullup back on --- I had a fit when she tried to put it on but she just walked away and said she was going BYSELF!!! I decided it was too cold not to wear pants after she opened the garage door and all I had on was my shirt and soxs!! S o I cooperated put my pants and shoes and jacket on!! I really wanted to go to my friends house!!!I stayed dry the whole time we were there hour and half!!! I was pretty good--shy at first but let mommy hold the 3 month old baby. I jumped on the trampoline and played with her Barbie Car. I learned a big lesson today to "TAKE TURNS" on the trampoline--I did break into tears when we had to leave because I wanted the toy---but it was an hour past nap!! I was asleep five min. after we got home!! They had a beta fish swimming in the bowl---cooool!! I also was reacting out taking turns with my fork and spoon at dinner---I would say its your turn to the fork and then the spoon would say ok---(funny!)
Gretchie is very independent and wants her privacy while going potty---and always at bedtime!! She wants me to go out of the bathroom each time. One night 3:30am ---She woke up from the cat and I just put her on the pottychair --she was still so sleepy but did not complain---I really would have been suprised!!! Last Saturday I was on the phone and Aunt Amber asked mommy how potty training was going --I said really good--and all of a sudden "G" says mommy I go poopie I show!! I really thought she was trying to get attention sooo I took her hand and she lead me into the pottychair and she had gone!!! GREAT! More exciting than the "sticka" is dumping the potty---she has the line down perfect --Let's dump and no spill--ha! (of course I help--and we haven't spilled yet??)Then always has to wash her hands!!!!

Sticks and Songs!

Since it was very , very cold outside--we spent the day at home! We colored with colored pencils today (TUESDAY) in my coloring book and white paper!! I carried the colored pencils around for an hour and then after nap another hour---my picture I drew was very neat! Mommy sat with me and we talked about which color they were--I then decided that I would quiz mommy by holding one pencil up and saying whats that mom? Mommy answered and I would reply YOU ARE RIGHT MOMMY--Great Job!!! (wonder what she would have said if I told her the wrong color) I sat at the dining room table and yelled mom look I drew a heffalump! Mommy took it and put it on the frig--I got mad because I was not done! I called the pencil color --white!!! Silver and Gold were set aside because mommy thought they were pretty colors! We listened to my " KING OF KINGS" tape about ten times! I know every single song and words and got great dance moves!!! The photo to the right I am singing "the joy of the Lord is my strength -ha ha ha" and then "Jumping up and Down shout Hosanna!"

We then made roads with a huge box of popsicle sticks for my cars--when daddy came home I told him we made a street! (Does she know roads and streets are the same? ) The best part of 700 or more sticks was cleaning them all up and then dumping it again and again!!

Monday at the Mall!

Daddy got to stay home today!! Boy was I excited!!! We had errands to run in TriCities--so off we went!

1. Burger King---I shared daddy's croissant and potato wedges. The drive to TriCities(30 min) there is nothing much to look at---I read books and mommy read Moo Moo Brown Cow---that book is in the van because we all have it memorized!!! Parts of the highway looked icy but the sun was out--still cold!!!
2.Costco--daddy drove around and around the parking lot as he said BUMP! and would go over the speed bumps and I laughed---(like three times to hit all the bumps over and over--ha!) I then got to ride in the cart across the parking lot---I love the shaking noise riding across a parking lot!! My job was to hold the block of cheese---notice how I TASTED IT!!
3.Shopko--daddy let me WALK like a big girl--I was sooo good as we went and got new jeans for daddy and he even let me carry them to mommy! We skipped down the aisles and cruised the home interior section! We also tried out all the rockers and mommy and daddy rested awhile as I rocked away--saying wheeeew! Mom paid for the jeans and daddy took me to Ranch and Home next door. I got to pet a puppy an a chichua (sp)
I tried out the saddles for horses until daddy read do not put children on saddles!!! OOOPPSIE!!! Mommy to me to the potty and I freaked out when we got to the registers--I stopped and said NO-sat down on the floor! Well wouldn't you be scared of all the deer and moose and bear heads on the wall?? As mommy scooped me up she realized what was next to the bathrooms! Afterwards daddy was waiting and we waved to all the animals on the wall---I was braver!!
4. Sprint--to transfer all mom's phonebook into her new phone-I stayed in the van with daddy!
5.Pennys (at the mall) Mommy ordered me a waterproof mattress pad--as daddy and I strolled in my stroller.
6. We ate clam chowder in the food court and I went potty all BYSELF!! I tried to take a nap under the tunnel daddy put his coat on the stroller--but oh it was too exciting!! I had a meltdown while daddy was ordering--I saw kids driving red car carts at the mall--whoa--I wanted to drive one! Dad said No and Mom said NO! I threw myself back in mommy's arms and went stiff! Crying and yelling---(until mommy told me she was in charge and it was lunchtime!) (Mom was actually happy I got out of my fit so fast---I had not thrown a fit in public like that before.)

7.Barnes and Noble (mall) Daddy went in to get a magazine as I sat on all the toys outside in the mall. We then went in the store I pulled up a stool and found me a magazine and started reading!! If you haven't read SCIENCE TODAY its a great magazine--I read all 9 copies and placed them neatly back on the shelf in front of me!!! I even turned to mom and told her I was reading and shhhhh!!!


8.Sprint -to get moms phone--then home!! I slept two hours 2:45 to 4:45 pm!! Mommy woke me up----BATH NIGHT---one hour and then I asked to go to bed at 7:55 pm!! Of course I had to go potty at 8:30 ish--I am doing soooooo good--- I heped mommy put new mingo sheets on my bed--but as mom came around the corner I was yelling mingo sheet is stuck----She had only washed the bottom sheet!! Mom found me some new jammies in the drawer size 3!! My size 2 jammies are getting small. My new pj's were pink and had Barbie on them! My mom and dad kept calling them princess jammies. I think they need to learn their Disney Prinesses (they may add me to the list.) I no way was letting mom take a photo of the pj's --- turning circles in the middle of the living room until I was so dizzy I fall over was better than another photo! I then decided half an hour later all BYSELF --Mom you want picture of my jammies?? STINKER!! Her timing and cuter than ever!!
