Catching up.......

Gretchen and Mommy traveled to Papa and Amma's in Spokane on Thursday . My sister and family were also there. (They live in Seattle area). Alison brought Jake over Thursday night for us to meet! Our friend Michael came to visit Thus. and Friday night! Gretchie was super excited to see her cousins Andrea (9) Austin (7) Aaron (4). They left Saturday and we stayed until Monday! It was a fun whirlwind 5 days!! Highlights were the duck pond on Saturday and riding the elephant at WHITE ELEPHANT STORE!!! Seeing Aunt Patti from Arizona!! Just being with Papa and Amma and all the hugs and kisses and attention!!! Playing with her cousins and freaking out each time there dog Ginger got near her!! Seriously she would hide behind me and say the dog scares me--its the cutest little dog !! But then minutes later walk past the dog-----geee chill out "G" it just a dog!
Sunday was the baby shower for JAKE! Which "G" had a couple moments during the shower that had to be talked to----thankfully she sucked up the drama and made right choices! Never know what kids will do?? She is still having a hard time when mom leaves--especially in new situations (baby shower) -----soooo during the first game I took her down to play with Taylor (6)(cousin) and 5 other little girls! She started playing and talking and I said I will be upstairs-she said ok and minutes later runs upstairs saying mommy mommy! So she sat on my lap on the floor and then started back down and y
she wanted to go HOME standing at the door in the landing! GREAT !!! AMMA took G down to play and she hurt her arm on the doorway--and was crying (way worse than it was .) Joan and Aunt Patti came to visit later. Then Monday morning Aunt Patti came back to visit--we then went down the block to see Roger Alison Taylor and Jake at Joan's house before heading HOME!! We left and went back to eat leftover pizza at Amma's.
Gretchen was quite hoarse voice and drippy nose so she slept the whole 2 and half hours HOME!! Dinner**bath **Daddy** bed!! WHEW!!!
