Gretchen was trying to get my attention today as I was talking on the phone to Nana. She was sitting on the couch and I kept holding up movie after movie No Thanks mommy. No thanks. It always makes me laugh how polite my child is--hope it continues!! I finally had to tell Nana hold on...........Gretchen come over and show mommy which movie you want--she got up off the couch and walked over o me on her knees and points to a movie! She then proceeds to start to whine---"ohhhh my knees." What a drama queen!!! I had to give both knees kisses! Of course they got better instantly! Oh the power of a KISS!! The doctor never tells you thats an immediate healer!! About a month ago--Gret. hurt her toe while we were eating dinner came over and said mommy I hurt toe please kiss. She then went over and purposely kicked daddy's backpack to get another kiss on the other toe---heeee!!!
Potty training---It goes very good all day until about 4 to 5 pm and somehow the last two days she forgets or is so busy playing!! Well I had to write this story----oh I have to go potty--I say run run run!! She runs and closes the door before I get there. Mommy I do all byself on potty chair. I say behind the door Do you need help? (seriously not sure what the child was doing) After a few minutes--I knocked and walked in--TO my amazement.................she had taken off the wet training pants and had a pullup on halfway up.(backwards but almost on) She had even went a few drops in the potty chair!!! She yells I did it and I am soo happy!! The big girl either is right on or just plain forgets!!! We have a cute potty chair song we made up and she has been brainwashed with it!
