Saturday--RACES*MUSEUM*Pizza Picinic at the Park

What a packed full day--we are great at trying to pack everything and then some into a Saturday! We were heading to a parade in Waitsburg (20 min outside of Walla Walla) but ran short on time by 10 am--with the drive (1 hour to WW) We did go to Waitsburg by 12:30 and ate hotdogs and fries and G had a snow cone---After asking her what color or flavor she wanted she did not hesitate and exclaimed I want Bubblegum when she heard the lady name the flavors----(she has never heard that word --I think) so that is what she chose! Tooo cute!!! She then stuck her tongue out and showed everyone the blue tongue!! She liked the horse races and we stayed for two races while she cheered and clapped the horses on to victory! --It was in the upper 90's and the races were very slow between---the princesses on horses came out between race one and two.(the princess doll she has rides an elephant--haha) She fell asleep 10-15 min on the way back to Nana and Papas. Woke up when Papa transferred her into the house. We then went out to get cousin Cole at 3 pm and we went to the Children's Museum (free day) HOT AND CROWDED in the museum. Nana came with us and daddy and Papa stayed behind. She had fun though and even left without a complaint! It was cute watching her in the kitchen area and went straight to the fake sink and washed her hands and poured milk and put into the microwave--even offered me some milk!! The construction work bench was fun and she had never seen a saw but knew how to use it---then turned to me and asked what is this called!!!! We went to Petco to get canned cat food and kitty litter and she had fun with the small carts they have-(she had never been where they had carts her size) --I put the 30 lb kitty litter in her basket and she even wheeled it to the checkout for me (it was a challenge but she did it)---immediately took the cart back--ahhh! We went back to Nana's to get daddy and Papa and then met Uncle Scott and Aunt Sheila and Blake at the park for pizza! Gretchen had a blast and did not stop running and playing the whole hour and half we were there! I did not take pictures when she was playing at this cool park---we had to get the keys out of Scott and Sheila's van they had locked inside----then they went home and daddy, Papa and Cole went on a geo cache--while mommy took Nana and G back to their house--gave G a bath (she was so sticky from running around in the heat) and then we left at 9 pm----very fun day!!!!
