Bad Tummy?

I just can't make it outside mommy..........
collapsed on the floor-- my poor girl~~
not wanting to do a thing........

Gretchen had a good MONDAY morning ate part of a pancake and she took a bath from 10 am to 11 am---When she finally wanted out of the tub she was lying on her tummy in th empty tub and said I am cold and my tummy hurts! I made her stand up and she said her tummy hurt worse---NOW---I had a very bad stomachache last Tuesday night/ Wed into my birthday and was not 100 percent sure she was playing "copycat" at the moment! When I dried her off and got her dressed she started gaging like she was going to throw up --then I knew she was sick! Ran her to the bathroom and she says I Can't talk I have water in my mouth---she never did throw up---and told me her tummy ache was from playing elephant in the tub and drinkng the water-(which I have told her not to do) Her reasoning makes me laugh! Although it is hard to see her not feeling good! After I had made her lunch #1 -chicken nuggets and carrot sticks---she crawled up into my lap and we called daddy! She was fast asleep at 12:05--slept two hours!! Got up and says MOMMY My Tummy is so much better!!! I tried to get her to play outside where she took a turn for the worse--while I made chicken noodle soup #2 lunch-- I found her lying in the doorway--so I then made lunch #3 scrambled eggs--NOPE!

She felt very warm no temp--just sat on me from 2 to 6 pm--I took her outside and she had her head on my shoulder all the way around the house---we read books and played on the computer---I took her on a stroller ride at 6 and she started eating soda crakers ( ate 12 :)) Snapped out of it and We painted her toes and fingers SILVER--elephant color!!!! TOO COOL! Lee called and said Uncle Sid was sick also--So our conclusions may be they both ate a popsicle from the vendor--I thought it might be bad milk from our trip sitting too long--or just plain 24 hour flu! Gretchie still stands by her theory it was from drinking her bath water! HA--She was asleep at 8:30 pm--woke up numerous times---At 7 am she sits straight up and says MY TUMMY IS BETTER AND I WONT DRINK ANY MORE WATER I PROMISE!! The next breath was I THINK I FEEL GOOD TO GO TO THE PARK!! Oh--that child!! Then she says DID UNCLE SID DRINK HIS BATH WATER TO GET SICK?? I told her NO WAY!! (he doesnt play elephant) haha--- Boy did I miss my spunky girl---

We had a fun TUES morning making crafts--with rubber stamps and made cute little boxes to put our elephant magnets for grandmas and aunts! Gretchie then comes in hugs me and says OH MOMMY THANK-YOU SO MUCH FOR TEACHING ME CRAFTS TODAY--(that comment made my week). She put Horton stickers on all 12 of her elephants and decided that was a GREAT IDEA for her party!! I was not sure what we were going to do with the stickas but she had a point they were her stickas and thats what she wanted to do with them!!! I still have half for her scrapbook!!!

After nap we went to the park--she was acting fine until she said I have to go to the bathroom--ya explosion! Ok--she jumped off the toliet so fast thinking it was an automatic flush toliet (I had to laugh at this)--and started to get whimpy on me---BUT we were at the park so she sucked it up and went to play--we stayed an hour (played with Kaden from Boogie --18 months)--went to Big Lots and then home! One more bout of bad tummy---dinner play with neighbor kids on bikes---and then bath in our tub---
