Gretchen and Tashja have become quite amazingly the best of pals the last six months. Let me add the cat was in HIDING for the first year Gretchen was home!! We never saw the cat while Gretchen was awake unless we went looking for her. Gretchen now shares treats with the cat and feeds her wet cat food---I even have her help clean and sweep the kitty litter. Gretchen waves hello and goodbye to the cat when she enters and leaves the room-ha!! In the last three days though I have seen Gretchen develop a jealous streak or possesive attitude toward the cat. Tashja jumped up on a livingroom stool and Gretchen yells "MEOW stop thats my stool. Then the next day the poor cat got yelled at for going outside---Gretchie though it was her outside. Gretchen has discovered she can brush the cat and she also gives her the catnip pillow to play with. We did catch "G" sitting on the catnip pillow feeding her tedybear a bottle.
