Today we decided to carve our pumpkin I got for my birthday from Uncle Scott and Aunt Sheila's garden. I was all ready to help mom spread out the newspaper in the kitchen as our Siamese cat watched every step. I took a few minutes to read some ads and then mommy started cutting the lid--whoa!!! Not quite sure what to think about the yucky stuff inside but was very curious. I scooped it out with a spoon and even stuck my hand in to give it a try--but the neat kid that I am I wanted my hands washed right away!!! The best part was when the face was cut--I clapped and said yeah nose and mouth!!! I lost interest and wanted crackers to eat while mom finished carving!! We then lit a candle and took it in the laundry room to see the completed pumpkin!! OH HAPPY DAY AGAIN!!!!!
